Bill litigates patent infringement lawsuits against well-funded and sophisticated technology companies, such as Samsung, Apple, Google, LG, Lenovo, VIZIO, Sony, Fitbit, Hewlett-Packard, NETGEAR, CommScope, and SK Hynix. Bill enjoys solving the challenges that arise from facing heavy-hitting companies and their attorneys in high-stakes patent litigation campaigns involving complex issues of technology and law.
Bill’s trial court experience includes cross-examining expert and fact witnesses in proceedings before the International Trade Commission. Bill also handles all aspects of patent litigation pre-trial work including, claim construction hearings, discovery hearings, expert witness depositions, and fact witness depositions.
Bill received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 2006 and his electrical engineering degree from Texas A&M University in 2003. Upon graduation from law school, he practiced at the law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.
He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and in the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.
