Brandon earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Texas Tech University and a J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law. While in school, he gained software engineering experience at a software company specializing in microcontroller programming and developed mobile applications, including several successful novelty apps available on major app stores.
As a litigator, Brandon has handled cases involving a variety of cutting-edge technologies, including 3G/4G/5G mobile networks, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi communications, network provisioning and QoS (Quality of Service), LED lighting, vehicle infotainment systems, voice recognition, WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia), virtual reality, fax-to-email, camera modules, USB (Universal Serial Bus), network throttling, email encryption, electronic catalogs, interactive maps and navigation, computer monitor stands, diamond-like coatings (DLC), and transdermal drug delivery technologies. Brandon is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), a member of the State Bar of Texas, and admitted to practice in all United States District Courts of Texas, as well as the Federal Circuit.
