Janson H. Westmoreland

Attorney

Janson joined Nelson Bumgardner Conroy in 2022 after graduating from Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth. Since his admission to the bar, Janson has focused his practice on intellectual property litigation and counseling. Janson’s legal career began in his hometown working as a summer associate with McKool Smith’s Marshall office. He also worked with NBC as a legal intern during law school.

Janson received a B.S. in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University and his J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2022, graduating cum laude. During law school, Janson served as an Articles Editor for the Texas A&M Law Review and worked in the school’s Patent Clinic, where he assisted in patent prosecution matters for members of the DFW community. He also served as a summer judicial clerk for both the Honorable Jeremy D. Kernodle and the Honorable Christine A. Nowak at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Janson is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
