Principal

Jon focuses his practice on patent infringement and complex commercial litigation. He has significant experience monetizing intellectual property in a wide range of technology fields including telecommunications, wireless networking, solid state storage devices, and video compression and display.

In his practice, Jon leverages his industry background to develop not only the technical aspects of the case, but also a damages strategy that is tied to his client’s technological contributions.

Jon has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas and earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Jon worked as a software developer at IBM in Austin, Texas. On numerous occasions, Jon’s peers have recognized him as a Super Lawyer Rising Star.
